Stacey Lynne Bracken Dodge was born February 21, 1989, a bright light to her family. She always enjoyed being with friends and family. Stacey hit her stride in seventh grade when she joined the youth group at New World United Methodist Church. She loved her service through youth choir, youth bells, and mission trips. On her first ski trip to Colorado her family knew that one day Stacey would make her dream of living in Colorado come true. She was in the youth program all six years of junior high and high school. She participated in the Lamar High School Band, Color Guard and Winter Guard. According to Stacey there was nothing like getting that perfect spin on a rifle.

Stacey graduated from Lamar High School in May 2007. Stacey started her college career by attending Texas A & M at Commerce and then transferred to Texas Woman's University in Denton. There Stacey found more ways to be of service by joining the Delta Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma. She graduated from Texas Women's University with a degree in Psychology. In January 2011 Stacey met Matt Dodge and the rest as they say was history. Matt brought the sparkle to Stacey's eyes. Stacey convinced Matt that moving to Colorado was the only thing to do and on August 14, 2016 Stacey and Matt pledged their love on one of those Colorado mountaintops. Stacey had a lifelong passion for animals especially dogs and managed to turn her jobs into ones that worked with dogs.

Stacey left this world August 3, 2017. She leaves behind her husband Matt Dodge, her mother Honora Bracken, her father and second mother Bob and Anne Bracken, her sisters Jennifer Bracken, Betsy Mobley and Jenny Puckett and her mother and father in law Patricia Dodge and David Williamson. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss the light and the brightness she brought into their lives.

A celebration of life will be held at New World United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, August 17 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eaton Animal Den, 231 S. Elm Ave. #1, Eaton, CO 80615 and the American Cancer Society.
