Lorraine Wettengel, 92, returned to her Heavenly Father on the morning of Wednesday, August 30, 2017, in Arlington, Texas. Lorraine was born to Leo C. and Mary Berres in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In 1946 she married William O. Wettengel, and was lovingly called "Mrs. Wow." They moved to Texas where they raised three daughters. They were married for 57 years until Bill passed away in 2004.

Lorraine was a homemaker, a Sunday school teacher and volunteer at St. Matthew Church, and she was named their first Church Woman of the Year in 1970....

In 1946 she married William O. Wettengel, and was lovingly called "Mrs. Wow." They moved to Texas where they raised three daughters. They were married for 57 years until Bill passed away in 2004.

Lorraine was a homemaker, a Sunday school teacher and volunteer at St. Matthew Church, and she was named their first Church Woman of the Year in 1970. Lorraine loved to golf, was an avid bridge player, and hosted countless family gatherings.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband William O. Wettengel, her parents Leo C. and Mary Berres, her twin sister Lois Morgan, and her older sister Imelda Bonell. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Wood, Mary Lee DeFord, and Lynn Gill, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and brothers, Eugene Berres and Jerry Berres.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76016. Private burial.
