Obituary


Jerald Anthony Floyd passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, after a long illness.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Moore Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Mr. Floyd was born in Fort Worth on April 14, 1942, where he resided for all but three years of his life. He lived those three years in Raleigh, North Carolina

Mr. Floyd was born in Fort Worth on April 14, 1942, where he resided for all but three years of his life. He lived those three years in Raleigh, North Carolina
He married his spouse of 46 years on June 28, 1969. Mr. Floyd attended Meadowbrook Elementary School, Polytechnic High School, TCU, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from Texas Wesleyan. He retired from RadioShack in 2006. Mr. Floyd was an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America earning the District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver, the St. George, and Bronze Pelican Catholic scouting awards.
Survivors: His wife, Jacquelyn; three sons and one daughter, Kevin and wife, Alice, of Florida, Stephen of Fort Worth, Catherine Anne McFarland of Fort Worth, and Nicholas and wife, Rebecca, of Oregon; and 13 grandchildren: Helaina, Hannah, Harrison, Hudson, Lauren, Reagan, Ty, Caden, Jonah, Levi, Dylan, Ruthie and Ava-Joy.
